The location for the China-UK 2025 Workshop is the S Building at Loughborough University, also known as the Sir David Davies Building, located in the southeastern part of the campus, close to Epinal Way (A6004) and Car Park 5. It is adjacent to the Sir Frank Gibb Building and near other engineering facilities such as the N Building. From the Pilkington Library, it’s about a 5-7 minute walk southeast along University Road. Loughborough is only a short train ride away from London, Derby, Leicester and Nottingham. Plus, it’s only a short 15-minute taxi drive away from East Midlands Airport. International guest can arrive in East Midlands Airport, Birmingham Airport, London Heathrow, and by train to Loughborough, then a bus (£2) or a taxi (about £10) from Loughborough Train station to Loughborough Campus.
